Subject: Regarding the release of commemorative stamp on the occasion of “Stamp Day”
Bangladesh Post Office released the first stamp on 29.07.1971. Bangladesh Post Office will release one commemorative stamp to celebrate “Stamp Day” on the upcoming 29th July to make it a memorable day. You are the witness of the history of the design of the first commemorative stamp of Bangladesh. So, Bangladesh Post Office is expecting the designs of a commemorative stamp, a first day cover (FDC) and a canceller from you regarding the celebration of the “Stamp Day” of this year. Bangladesh Post Office will be forever grateful to you if you can give the design of the desired commemorative stamp. As per the decision of the annual program held on 17.02.2015, we are humbly requesting you to provide the designs of commemorative stamp and canceller.
The design of the commemorative stamp has to be original. A graphic design of the size of 32 mm X 42 mm of the commemorative stamp should be submitted with every design. Due to shortage of time, it is requested to submit the design to the below-signed person within 09.07.2015. The designs and themes of the postal goods including the stamp will be considered as Post Office’s own property. A full book, booklet, catalog, multimedia CD with these designs cannot be published without the prior approval of the post office. But the photos/information of these designs can be used as news/referral.
