GANDHI STAMP OUT TOMORROW

The Gandhi centenary stamps, Britain’s first postage stamp to commemorate an oversea Leader, goes on sale at all post offices tomorrow (Wednesday).

It costs 1s. 6d. the airmail rate to India, and its issue comes two days before Indian Independence Day. Over 14 million of the stamp have been printed.
